We've made it our mission to source 90% of our products from Westcountry small and independent businesses. This keeps our food miles low, our carbon footprint smaller, and helps to sustain the local economy. By shopping ethically and supporting local suppliers, we ensure that money cycles back into our communities, building stronger ties with those around us.
We’re hands-on with every product we offer, often baking our own goods to reduce waste and control quality. We’ve put our friends, family, and neighbours through countless taste tests, ensuring everything is as delicious as it is responsibly sourced.

Going Beyond Plastic-Free
It’s not enough to just avoid plastic. We’re working towards making as much as possible in-house, and when we can't, we partner with local suppliers who share our vision of a waste-free future. Most of our packaging is either reusable or recyclable, and wherever possible, we reuse the packaging from our suppliers to package our own products. This means less waste and more thoughtful use of resources. From our takeaway cups, lids, and stirrers (all home compostable) to our glassine cake bags and napkins, we aim for zero waste.
Fair Wages & Ethical Coffee
Brewing great coffee isn’t just about taste; it’s about fairness and transparency from farm to cup. We partner with Origin Coffee Roasters, a certified B Corporation, to bring you high-quality coffee that's grown with care. Origin ensures fair wages and ethical working conditions for farmers, many of whom cultivate coffee on nutrient-rich lands that have been farmed by their families for generations. This deep respect for the growers and the land makes our coffee not just delicious but ethically sourced and environmentally sound.

Partnership with The Natural Spa

We’re taking our sustainability commitment to the next level by partnering with The Natural Spa to give new life to our spent coffee grounds. Instead of ending up in food waste bins, these organic coffee grounds will now be transformed into luxurious body scrubs and soaps - closing the loop on waste while supporting eco-friendly skincare.
Throughout the summer season, we generate a significant amount of coffee grounds at festivals and events. While past efforts included using them in home gardens and offering them to customers, logistical challenges meant that too much of this valuable byproduct was being lost.
Now, thanks to a collaboration with Zoe at The Natural Spa, our grounds will be repurposed into high-quality, handmade skincare products. This partnership not only prevents waste but also aligns with our core values of sustainability, ethical sourcing, and supporting independent businesses.
Coffee is the second-largest traded commodity after petroleum, and an estimated six million tonnes of spent grounds go to landfill every year, contributing to methane emissions. By working with The Natural Spa, we’re ensuring that our organic coffee waste becomes something useful, beautiful, and kind to the planet.
